Part 2 Chapter 78
Nora’s POV
It has been about two weeks since we moved into the tower and everyone helped us move our stuff,
and the girls helped me decorate. The sitting room is absolutely lovely, I love spending time here. Take
a book and sit in the lounge with a cup of tea. I never thought I was going to be this kind of person but
sometimes it feels nice to relax.
Oh and I have seen Alfred a couple of times now and talking to him is actually nice. He brings me to
the forest and we walk around there while I talk about everything and nothing. He is one of our biggest
supporters now, Aurelie likes his lycan as well.
But now I am sitting in the library with elder William and Mariah as we have been studying the curse in
secret from everyone else. Even if I had access to the witch’s memories there is something that
bothers me. Helios said the same thing, Elder William believes that I am the loophole of the curse and
it might be so..
Magic always comes with a price and every spell or curse has its own loophole. The witch bound
herself to the king and the queen but never got their love. I have marked both Helios and Ares and
Mariah believes when they have marked me I can break the curse on the female lycans but the rogue
lycans will still be affected by the curse.
So we got so far that the curse must have two locks and I am just one key. The other key must be the

And Mariah believes that we must find out which one is the other key before my mates mark me. And
with the pace I am releasing pheromones, my heat is getting near. We must work faster.
I must meet with the moon goddess and Artemis because those two must know something about this
other key person. But how do I get up to the goddess realm by myself? Should I try knocking myself
out? Perhaps run at full speed, head first into a brick wall? No, that sounds just craży.
“Ah, I got something, I hope” Elder William say and both me and Mariah looks up at him
“well it’s just a short thing written here but it’s something” he adds and smile nervously and I nod
“A curse cast by revenge can find its purpose on its end” Mariah reads and I tilt my head.
“On what end?” I ask and feel the headache coming.
“Yeah, I am wondering the same” Ares says and I turn around to see him standing there. Never heard
the door open. Sh it.
“Ares, what are you doing here?” I ask and smile, while elder William sighs along with Mariah.
“Oh I have known about your meetings since three days ago” he says and sits beside me.
“Why didn’t you say anything? You could have helped us you
know” I scold him and he chuckles.
“Because I wanted to see if you could figure it out by yourselves. And by the way the witch was crazy
and that is
why she cast the curse” Ares ads and I flinch.
“No, she was hurt and felt betrayed and..” I began when a sudden thought occurred to me.
“Nora?” Mariah asks and I stand up.
“I need to go” I say and rush out of the library.
I run down the corridors and run into Davè, he catches me before I trip and fall.
“Are you okay Nora?” he ask me and I nod trying to catch my breath

“Where is your brother?” I ask him and he can see that I am serious right now.
“He is outside with Helios” Dave says and I nod and continue to run outside. I look around until I find
both of them, walking on top of the wall.
“Hi Nora, come and jump up,” Helios said and held out his hand to me.
I walk over and grab his hand and jump at the same time. Helios steadies me and I look at him and
smile.
“Helios, can you go away please. I need to talk to your father” I say and he seems shocked but he nods
and jumps down.
The king sits down on the wall and helps me with my balance so I can also sit down. I watch Helios and
I wave my hand and make him walk away.
“Okay, now I am curious, what is it you want to talk about?” the king asks and I look at him and takes a

“I have been studying the curse the entire week and now I think I found something. I am only one part
to break it and I think I have almost found the second part to break it but I need to ask you one thing
first, if that is okay?” I say and he nods at me.
“Of course, Nora, you can ask me anything” he says and looks away like he knew that my question was
a big one.
“Did you make the witch pregnant?” I ask and he huffs and turns to me and he seems so old suddenly.
“Yes, she became pregnant and yes she did have the baby before the curse was placed” he says and I
nod
“Did she, I mean..” I try to ask as I try to organize my thoughts.
“You know who it is” he says and I look confused by now.
“I do?” I ask and he nods.
I try to wreck my brain and it starts to hurt me and I shake my head.
“She never sacrificed her baby but she gave it away for
another to raise it. If you believe that the baby could break the curse alongside you then it’s quite easy
since she is here. In the castle.” the king says and I turn my head to look at him and then I slowly look
at the castle when I finally get it.
